Our Little Family: Grandma Brooks Visit!

We were SO blessed to get to have a wonderful visit from Grandma Brooks. We also had an amazing visit from Granny Dee for five wonderful weeks and she's here now (!!! yay!!!) for three, but I have yet to catch the blog up as far as back tracking.

Grandma Brooks said before she came, "Now we don't have to go see anything; I'm just here to help and love on you." But it was such a treat for me to have an extra person to do some super fun outings and I LOVED getting to see Dallas show Grandma all of his favorite places! We got to do a lot of fun things and that's one of my favorite things about being a mom: getting to take the boys to see and experience things. Another top one is seeing Dallas grow in the Lord and memorize Scripture and to hear his sweet voice pray so genuinely from the bottom of his pure and sweet heart. And seeing the little boys adore Dallas and watch him so intently, amazed at such Big Boy things! Getting to see Dallas love on them, makes my heart feel like it it going to explode. He truly loves them. When they cry, he doesn't hesitate, he just naturally reaches for their hands, gets them a soft blanket or binky and sings "Jesus Loves You" to them. I am blessed beyond my wildest dreams.

Grandma also did an estimated 20-40 loads of laundry (!) and all of us are finding clothes we haven't seen in months! Thank you, Grandma! We love you and had such a wonderful time getting to have you here!!!
