Today was a really special day. It started with some Mario Kart with "Big Boy" before he went to preschool. Then the boys and I have a (short) one on two time. We sat on the couch by our front window and they laughed and yelled and giggled and talked. We used hand puppets and they giggled when I kissed them with mine and then they started making their puppets (they LOVE having them on their hands too) kiss each other. Which reminds me, I forgot to mention that they have started kissing. They make a "mmmmmm mah!" sound and lay on one me! And yesterday they did that to each other...it was really sweet. They are really starting to make each other laugh.
After a little more play, they went down for the morning nap. After that they had a quick lunch, Miss B. came over and off we went to the library for Baby Lapsit. They had fun. While almost all of the other babies stayed on their mother's laps..."Curls" explored the room, tried to escape out the door a couple times and grabbed the teacher's stuff off of her table a couple of times. Thankfully, I have gone before and knew that they are "allowed" to run around, she understands that they are babies and toddlers! ;) But it's just cute to see their personalities.
Then we took Miss B. out to lunch to thank her for going to Baby Lapsit with us! One baby per adult lap so we couldn't have gone w/o her!
Then everyone (except "Big Boy") took a nap (B and I both fell asleep on the couch :o!) and then dinner and off to church. After church, as usual, people loved on all three of my kiddos and we all feel very loved and blessed.
Then "Big Boy" asked if he could sleep in his brothers' room (in between their cribs on the floor). I decided to say "okay" and see if it took. He said, "this is the BEST day of my life!!! Babies! You get to sleep in the same room with your favorite brother!!! Mommy, I think I'm going to cry happy tears." Well, it turns out that was a huge blessing b/c Story Time in the twins' room was a huge blessing. We laughed at a couple books that we got from the library, namely, "Silly Tilly" which we read three times and bonded. It was very, very special. My mom came in the beginning of story time and so we all got to spend that time together. I've tried (many times, actually) to do a story time w/ the little guys as part of a routine, but it has never flowed. They might be at the right age now...or maybe they were just zonked out from a busy day ;)
Anyways, just a fun day so I wanted to blog!
Praising God for all of His blessings, for giving us an amazing church, family and most importantly: salvation and a relationship with Him. Thank You, Father.
