-I started to email you all just a few hilarious Dallas quotes and thought I'd just post 'em. That boy keeps us smiling. Bry and I were talking last night about how we will soon have three little people cracking us up!
Sooo...Dallas likes to play that he's the mommy bear, polar bear, puppy, etc. and I'm the baby and Daddy is BigBoy. This morning I forgot we were playing that and I said, "Dallas, which name do you like better for you: Dallas or James?" He replied, "I like Mommy Bear."

-On that same note, we were driving BFF Grace to our house and they were in the back arguing over who got to be the mommy. I took Grace's side.

-Tucking him in: "Dallas, Grace is sick; she's been throwing up." D:"I want to pray for her." (Bows head and closes eyes.) "Dear God, please help mine Gracie not be sick, not throw up. A---men!"

-Last night: "Dallas, who do you want to pray for?" D:"Your mommy still sick?" (She just got home from the hospital a week ago.) Me: "Yes, she still has some ouchies." D:"Dear God, please help mine Mommy's mommy not have any more ouchies. The End.....A-men!" Me:"Do you have any one else you want to pray for?" D: "Dear God, please help mine Daddy come home and not be gone anymore." (Bry had been working all day...granted...in our yard!) Me:"Uh...Did you pray for Daddy to be home?" D: "yes." Me: "He is home." D: "oh!" chuckles. Me: "you want to go kiss him goodnight?" D: "no."
-I have recently become addicted to McD's sweet teas. Dallas even knows my order... "Dallas, what does Mommy order at McDonald's? D:"A sweet tea with no much ice!"
On the way to an ultra sound of the twins, D and I were talking about them. I told him that we were going to look at his babies who are coming in a LOOOOONG, LONG time! I said, we will get to keep these babies forever and he threw up his arms and said, "Forever?!?!?! I LOOOOOOOOOVE that!" Then he talked about how he would help mommy take care of them. He got super excited learning that they would sit in carseats next to his carseat...one on either side ;). He said he would give them bottles with milk in them. I told him they would drink mommy's milk. So he just assumed they'd drink daddy's milk too...it only makes sense. So he said, "I give them mommy's milk and daddy's milk and BigBoy milk! But NOOOO cow's milk!"
-Trying to use a psychology trick on Dallas to make him choose one of two options, I'll say, "Dallas do want oatmeal or cheerios for breakfast?" It doesn't phase him for a second...he's not confined to options! He'll just ignore that and say, "Hot Chocolate!!!"
-Dallas, who are you going to marry? "Myself. ....and Grace .....and myself."
-Dallas, mommy has loved you for a long time. Do you know how long? D:"Yes. Seven Days!!!!!!!!"
-What do you want to be when you grow up? D:"A truck driver!" Me: "Cool, your Pappah Jack is a truck driver! What is Pappah Chuck's job?" D:"Put spoons and forks away." (also happens to be Dallas' chore) "What is Granny Dee's job?" "Put spoons and forks away." "What is Memaw's job?" "Make me food."
