Well...he's hilarious!! Of course since I'm trying to, I can't think of the funny things he's been saying, but he has been cracking us up! OK, here are just a few:
"Jesus is in my tummy! Mine tummy full!"I was telling Dallas about what a great daddy he has and I said your daddy tells people about Jesus. He said, "I tell people about Jesus too! I call Pappah Chuck and tell him about Jesus!"
Dallas woke up and I made him oatmeal. He was going through a little stage of hating oatmeal...weird. But instead of the usual, "No! I not like oatmeal!!!!" He just said, "I already ate." Not sure I'd heard him correctly b/c it was such a lie and so hilarious...I said, "you already ate?" and he assured me, "yeah, I already ate."
Dallas refers to himself as "Big Boy" instead of Dallas, about 90% of the time. Knocking on door at G'ma and G'pa's house. G'ma: "Who is it?" Dallas: "It's me: Big Boy!"
We play a little game: "who does Mommy love" and the answer is: "Dallas!" But he'll usually go, "Gracie?" "Noah?" "Sierra?" "Ty?" and name tons of other ppl first w/ a knowing and excited facial expresssion.
Sweet: "I love you, my puppy." (to stuffed dogs)
He was going #2 on the big potty and he scooted over to one half of the seat. Then he tapped the empty half and said, "I made room for you. Mommy poop too!"
I came home after being out on some errands. Me: "Hi Dallas!" Dallas: "Mommy! ...I missed you Mommy!"
Thanking God for his family and friends in his night time prayers, even when he's not prompted.
Prayer time: Me: "God, please help all the boys and girls who don't have a mommy or daddy." Dallas: I share mine Mommy and Daddy!!! I share mine Mommy Daddy with boys and girls!" Then when I pray for boys and girls who don't have a home or food: "I share mine home! I share mine food!" Me: "you would share your home?" D: "yeah!!!" Me: "where would the little boys and girls sleep?" D: "Mine room! I share mine bed!!!" =)
I love Baby Madison" (he says it Madeeesin)
Talking about Madison: "yeah.....I want different baby." (hold out hands cupped in front of him) "i want to hold mine baby." (that was several months ago)
Two days ago: Dallas, would you like Mommy and Daddy to have a baby? D: "Yeah! I waaaaaaant....(pause for thinking...) Baby Madison!!!!!!" Me: "Well, Baby Madison is in Heaven with Jesus, but we can pray for another baby." Dallas (yelling), "NO! I want BABY MADISON!!!!" Me: Well, would you like a different baby that you could hold?" (Long pause) "Ahhhh, meeeee.....yeah! I like a new baby I can hold!!! Yeah! Yeah, Mommy, yeah!" Me: "do you want a girl or boy?" Short pause. "D: "Ah me (that's what he says while he's deciding), Boy Baby!!!!"
Sneaky: We were at the Children's Museum in Phx. and Dallas did not stop doing something when i told him to....so he had to sit in time out and just watch the other children play for a minute. After a little bit he said, "Mommy! I [need to] go pee pee!" I told my mom, "He is so smart! That is the ONLY way he could get himself out of time out and he's going for it." I go talk to him about the not listening thing and then head to the potty when he says, "No I not need to anymore." Back to timeout to finish the original sentence!
Depressed because he didn't want to be Elmo; he wanted to be T-Rex!
Dancing to the radio in his room.
More in room, more dancing
